On Wednesday we held Sports Day at the Hartswood Sports Ground, what an enjoyable day it was. The children were fantastic and tried their best in every event.

Last night I attended the school summer show. It was a fantastic evening and I would like to congratulate all the children on their exceptional performances.

Last Friday was the Year 11’s Leavers’ Prom. It was a fantastic evening enjoyed by both the children and staff.

The Year 11s have now finished all their exams and I am looking forward to joining them in their celebrations tonight at the Leavers’ Prom.

Next week are the final few Year 11 GCSE exams. Today we held the Year 11 Leavers Assembly and all the Year 11s had a great time signing shirts, followed by a visit from the ice cream van.

The trip to Newquay in the half term was a great success and enjoyed by the staff and children.
